"Ein Schloss am Wörthersee" – 25 years celebration
It is a quarter of a century since the shooting of “Ein Schloss am Wörthersee”** started in Velden and in a total of 34 episodes showed Carinthia at its most attractive. Respected actors attracted a great deal of attention during filming and lent Austria’s most southern province a special charm. Thomas Hopfgartner, the co-founder of LIVING DELUXE Real Estate: “This fact prompted us to invite the players to a party on our terrace, as they were and still are sensational ambassadors for the Wörthersee.” At the start of the festivities, as the host Thomas Hopfgartner greeted the guests by saying: “We have to thank you that the images of the Wörthersee have now been seen around the world and for this we wish to express our gratitude.”
A gathering of the stars
Numerous guests from the worlds of film and business accepted the joint invitation from LIVING DELUXE and Karl Spiehs, the producer of the cult series. The artistes Peter Kraus, Dagmar Koller and Alfons Haider, producer and actor Otto Retzer, as well as Kurt and Joanna Mann (Mann Bakery), the businesswoman Inge Unzeitig and many others attended, and star chef Hubert Wallner pampered the more than eighty guests in person.
